Investment Projects of the Russian Far East and Trans-Baikal Regions: Priorities of the 21st Century September 19-20, 2001
The Khabarovsk Territory Administration, in collaboration with the Interregional Association "Far East - Trans-Baikal Regions," has held Far Eastern International Investment Conferences. General problems in attracting domestic and foreign investments were chosen as the theme for the First Conference (1996), while the Second (1997) and the Third (1999) Conferences were devoted to energy and mineral resources as well as to transportation problems of the Far East. Those Conferences were the predecessors of the forthcoming Forum, which is held under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation and the Russian Government.

Registration fee is 200 US dollars or equivalent in roubles (Russian currency). Current exchange rate is 28,96 roubles per 1 dollar. Please note that exchange rate may vary. The fee includes transfer from/to airport, shuttle bus from the hotel to the Conference Hall, individual breakfasts, group meals and beverages, conference documentation, simultaneous translation, cultural program. The fee does not include participants' travel or hotel expenses. Transfers in Khabarovsk Please advise us the arrival/departure dates and flight numbers in advance. We will arrange cars for your transportation from and to the airport. Passports and Visas Foreign visitors entering Russia must have a valid passport and visa. Visitors should apply for visas to a Russian consular office or diplomatic mission in their country. For details please contact your travel agent or a consular office in your country. Currency Exchange Only Russian roubles are accepted within Russia. You can buy Russian roubles at banks and authorized exchange offices upon presentation of your passport. Most hotels have authorized exchange offices. Traveler's Checks and Credit Cards Traveler's checks have very limited use within Russia. You may exchange traveler's checks for dollars or roubles at a limited number of banks and authorized exchange offices upon presentation of your passport.
