This event, which attracts more than 400 senior business leaders, was held at the new Empire Hotel & Country Club (formerly Jerudong Park Hotel) which was opened especially for the CEO Summit. The Summit�s theme is "Getting Back to Basics - Revitalising and Refocusing APEC�s Business Agenda." In the wake of the WTO meeting in Seattle, it is APEC�s objective to try to get the organization back on track with its original goals - market liberalization and capacity building for the companies and the economies that shall be operating in and around the world�s fastest growing region of the 21st Century.
