Legal services for PBEC are provided by Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP through the invaluable efforts of Alexander R. Jampel, Esq. Paul Hastings is an international law firm with a network of over 800 lawyers in eleven offices - Los Angeles, Orange County and San Francisco, California; New York City; Washington, D.C.; Stamford, Connecticut; Atlanta, Georgia; Tokyo; Hong Kong; Beijing; and London.

Mr. Jampel has been assisting PBEC on legal matters since 1995. He is currently based in the Tokyo office of Paul Hastings with over 30 lawyers, approximately half of whom are licensed Japanese bengoshi's. Mr. Jampel is licensed in California and Hawaii and has practiced law in Los Angeles, Honolulu and Tokyo. He is also licensed as Certified Public Accountant in California and Hawaii.

Mr. Jampel was born and raised in Tokyo and is fluent in Japanese.
