David Ching Heng Hoe
Chief Executive Officer, Ong & Ong Vietnam
David has worked under the auspices of BEP Malaysia, Chartered Architects Malaysia and Chua Ka Seng Singapore. Between 1989 and 1995, he was Jurong Bird Park’s Director of Planning & Development.
He has also ventured into China, India and Vietnam. He set up a full-fledged multi-disciplinary firm in Ho Chi Minh City in 2007 and was the main contractor of a 1500-unit social housing development in Danang City. David has been with the Ong & Ong Group since 2010. He currently is the CEO of Ong & Ong Vietnam and director of its other subsidiaries in Malaysia and its HQ Singapore. He is also the current Chairman of Ong & Ong Group. (Ong Tze Boon who works with David is the youngest son of the late Mr Ong Teng Cheong, the 5th President of the Republic of Singapore) Prior to Ong & Ong David ran his own architectural firm and worked for several others across Asia. He is a well renowned master of his craft and has had a hand in some of the most famous and historic building projects in Vietnam.
David has a certificate in Arbitration from the National University of Singapore, a Post-Graduate Architecture Diploma from the Bartlett School of Architecture & Planning, University College London and a
Diploma & Bachelor in Architecture (1st Class) University Technology Malaysia. He is a national of Malaysia, residency in Singapore and domiciled in Vietnam and is married.

He is extremely knowledgeable on how to do business and observes current trends and new investment opportunities in other growing residential and commercial real estate markets such as Laos and Cambodia.
