PBEC CEO Michael Walsh and Board of Director Sebastian Man who is also recently appointed to the MIT HK board committee were in attendance alongside leading HK business leaders/former and current Government officials supporting the MIT celebration of 150 years Women in STEM. The event was graced with multiple alumni of MIT including Marjorie Yang Mun-tak GBS a former PBEC Board of Director who represents Hong Kong at ABAC amongst many other esteemed titles and roles. We heard from the President on the achievements to date but highlighted there is still work to be done. There were other award winning women in STEM and aeronautical engineering as well as the first woman President of a HK University in HKUST. It was a wonderful evening of discussions and stories with over 30 female students from across HK schools invited to attend and ask questions of the speakers.
