The Honorable Han Duck-Soo Minister for Trade Republic of Korea |
Han Duck-Soo was appointed Korea's Minister of State for Trade in March 1998. He has worked within Korea's government since 1974.
Previously, he was Vice Minister with the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy (MOTIE), Commissioner of the Korean Industrial Property Office, Assistant Minister for International Trade, Assistant Minister for Planning and Management, and Secretary to the President for Economic Affairs, among other notable positions.
Minister Han graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Seoul National University in 1971, and with a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University in 1984. He was born June 18, 1949 and is married.
