Enrique Vilatela President and CEO Banco National de Comercio Exterior, S.N.C.

Enrique Vilatela has been the President and CEO of BANCOMEX (Banco National de Comercio Exterior), the Foreign Trade Bank of Mexico, since December 1993.

Previously, Vilatela was General Director of Public Credit and General Director of External Credit for the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit of Mexico.

He has been a member of the board of directors of several commissions, banks, and public- and private-sector firms.

Vilatela received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1979. He graduated with a B.S. in Actuarial Sciences from the Universidad Anahuac in Mexico in 1976.
