Dr. Fereidun Fesharaki Director, Program on Resources East West Center

Dr. Fereidun Fesharaki was selected in 1995 as a senior fellow of the U.S. Association for Energy Economics for distinguished service in the field of energy economics, and was named associate editor of Energy: The International Journal and Energy Economics. Since 1991, he has been a member of the Advisory Board of Mitsubishi Oil Company of Japan, Advisory Board member of the Far East Oil Price Index based in Singapore, and member of the Pacific Council on International Policy.

Dr. Fesharaki been an adviser to major oil companies, independent companies, trading companies, state-owned companies, and governments in the Middle East, Pacific Basin and Latin America, as well as the U.S. government.

He received his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Surrey, England.
