EASTER ISLAND,
«The Bellybutton of the World»

Isolated and in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean, EASTER ISLAND welcomes visitors to a unique open-air Archaeological Museum: giant "Moai" (stone statues) and their 'Abu' (long stone Platform the ancients built as a base for the statues) stand as reminders of a civilization that once was. Added to this, petroglyphs, delicious lobsters and other seafood, transparent waters teaming with life, a pleasant semitropical climate and friendly natives, make a visit to Easter Island an unforgettable experience most tourists only dream of.
